He's been convicted of a DUI every 5 years of his life and now an Elkhart County man learns his fate, after his most recent conviction.
Forty-six-year-old David Hauk of Goshen was convicted in September of driving under the influence, for the 9th time.
He was seen by a Goshen police office weaving in and out of traffic on a moped. When he failed a sobriety test, Hauk tried to get away. The arresting officer had to taser him to get him into custody.
Hauk could spend 11 years behind bars on this conviction.
His sentencing is set for 9 a.m. Monday.
