One in critical condition after double shooting in South Bend
South Bend, IN The incident happened in the 1100-block of East Milton Street, near the city cemetery, around 11:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police are investigating a double shooting on South Bend's southeast side.
It happened just after 11:30 Thursday night in the 1100-block of East Milton Street.
Police say two people were shot, one woman in her back and a man in his leg.
Both were transported to Memorial Hospital.
Police tell us the woman is in critical condition and because of the severity of her wounds, St. Joseph County's Metro Homicide Unit is now investigating.
Witnesses say the suspect pulled up in front of the house and started shooting before fleeing the scene.
Police continue to search for a suspect.
The man's injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
