A group of people met in Benton Harbor today to talk about injustice in and around the city.
Church and community members stopped by Hopewell Baptist Church at noon today.
One topic of discussion: complaints about the cases connected with former Benton Harbor police officers Bernard Hall and Andrew Collins.
Much of the discussion focused on their alleged planting of drugs.
"We're saying at least 200 people, drugs were planted on over 200 people, and we want all 200 cases dropped. We want everything expunged from their record,” says Rev. Edward Pinkney.
“Everybody who was accused of being involved with drugs, we want them to expunge that form their record, and if they're in prison, we need to find out who they are and release them."
Just yesterday, more cases investigated by Hall and Collins were dismissed.
The group also spoke at length about opening up a chapter of the NAACP in Benton Harbor.
