NewsCenter 16 has learned that Chicagoland quarterback Tommy Rees has verbally committed to Notre Dame.
Rees is the 11th high school senior to choose the Irish and is the second quarterback to commit, along with Cincinnati Moeller's Andrew Hendrix.
Rees is 6'1, 190 lbs. and also had offers from Tennessee, Stanford, Northwestern and the majority of schools from the Mid-American Conference.
He plays at Lake Forest High School in suburban Chicago.
