LaPorte County Coroner reveals Jada's cause of death
LaPorte County, IN We now know the cause of death of a Portage toddler found in LaPorte County Thursday afternoon.

We now know the cause of death of a Portage toddler found in LaPorte County Thursday afternoon.
According to LaPorte County Coroner John Sullivan, 2-year-old Jada Justice died from a depressed skull fracture as the result of blunt force trauma.
The girl's body was found off U.S. 421. Investigators say she was likely encased in concrete in shallow water for days before she was reported missing.
Jada's cousin -- 18-year-old Engelica Castillo, and her boyfriend -- 24-year-old Tim Tkachik of Hobart -- are charged in the girl's murder. Each faces multiple counts, including murder and false informing.
Castillo and Tkachik face 65 years behind bars if convicted.
