Like most Americans, chances are you sometimes feel like there aren't enough hours in the day to get things done. But one Elkhart County entrepreneur is hoping his new errands services business-- can give people a hand.

Skyler Walker and his wife, Amanda, launched their business—Time Flies Errand Services LLC-- back in September. They're an errand and concierge business. And despite the tough economy, Walker says his business is getting more popular, as word spreads.

“I've always wanted to start up a company that hasn't been tried or is extremely rare in the area and honestly that's the errand and concierge business,” explains Walker.

From the post office, to dry cleaning, pet sitting, you name it, for about 25 dollars an hour; Walker's job is his client's "to-do" lists.

Right now, Walker says many of his clients are busy professionals, but he's starting to get more calls from elderly folks.

Thursday morning, Walker's taking inventory on a client's kitchen, then off to the grocery store.

“His girls like the Wild Cherry Capri Sun, so we know to mark that down and he's usually out of that, so every week we get him a refill on that, he always likes that,” explains Walker. “We'll finish up this grocery list, come back, put it away, and then head to the next destination.”

“My client likes the leafy romaine, so I get him that every week,” adds Walker.

Unlike folks who are in a rush, Walker says he has time for those extra details.

“Always make sure it's the longest expiration date, this right here is August 10th, so it's not too bad, but we're going to go with August 23rd,” adds Walker.

While some will prefer to run their errands on their own, others may find Time Flies to be money well spent.

“I really want to provide a service that helps people regain what they value the most, whether that is their family time, career, or even their leisure time,” adds Walker.

Time Flies will also come to your home and do "wait for" services, so if you have a tech or handy man coming to your home, they'll wait for them if you can't.

Walker charges 25 dollars an hour, with a minimum of one hour. He also offers three “time saver” packages that offer bulk rates of 10, 15, and 20 hours of service.
