A Granger woman was killed after a tree branch fell on her while leading a trail group on horseback.
The accident happened about 12:30p.m. Sunday, in the Brown County State Park, which is just south of Indianapolis.
Indiana Conservation Officers say Chelsea Ann Lovett, 20, of Granger, was leading a trail guide group on horseback when a dead tree fell, hitting another tree causing its branch to fall onto Lovett.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
One other person was sent to the hospital when they fell off a horse during the accident.
Lovett graduated from Penn High School and was attending Purdue University.
