A 16-year-old Buchanan High School student has died from a rollover accident.

It happened Sunday afternoon about 1:50p.m. on Oak Forest Road near Curran Roan in Bertrand Township, Berrien County.

Police tell us the driver, Dilan Shearer, 16, was pronounced dead after his vehicle rolled-over and hit a tree.

Shearer just left a Father's Day celebration and was going to a relative's house in Bertrand Township before the accident happened.

Police continue to investigate the accident.
