After storms passed through the area Sunday, many counties and communities are still experiencing power outages.
In Michigan, Kalamazoo County has 942 households without power. 3,856 homes have lost power in St. Joseph County, Michigan. Indiana Michigan Power reports that 266 homes are without power in Van Buren County, and 193 in Cass County.
In Indiana, 2,016 homes are without power in St. Joseph County. In Elkhart 195 homes are experiencing the outage. 951 homes in Marshall County are without power, and 163 in Noble County.
Meanwhile, some 2,700 Midwest Energy Cooperative customers are without power. The areas that are most affected are Schoolcraft, Vicksburg, Three Rivers, Marcellus and Decatur.
