Unity Gardens will hold an oil change and point inspection fundraiser this afternoon. From 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. you can head out to South Bend’s Autoplus Service Center located on main street.
Both services will cost you around $30 and all money raised will go to the Unity Gardens.
The non-profit organization creates community gardens throughout Michiana. Community gardens give people the chance to help harvest and grow their own produce.
The organization began in 2009 with 12 gardens. In the last 3 years, it’s grown to more than 45.
