The fight over the future of South Bend’s ethanol plant will continue in court this week.
A hearing has been set for Thursday morning in U.S. District Court as Texas based Natural Chem continues to challenge the results of a bankruptcy court auction that put the property in the hands of liquidators.
Natural Chem wants to buy the plant and keep it operating. The company is seeking a stay that would prevent the liquidators from closing their sale.
Natural Chem continues to argue that the auction itself was tainted by bidder collusion.
