NewsCenter16 is proud to offer the chance for you to be a member of the WNDU Team. Be an iWitness Reporter by sharing your photos and video online through WNDU.com. Select photos will be picked and used on the air during NewsCenter16.
When you are submitting your photos and videos to WNDU, please keep these things in mind:
- Select the proper album for your images. For example, if you are submitting a sunset, be sure to select the sunrise/sunset album and not the severe weather album.
- Be very detailed in your description. Be sure to include who, what, where, and when in the description. If you are missing that information, chances are your photo or video won’t be used. We need to put the material in context for the viewers at home and if we are missing that information, we won’t be able to talk about it.
- Enter a valid email address. If we have questions for a follow up, we need a valid email address to contact you through. Be sure it’s an account you check often. The news changes quick! If it takes you a few days to get back to us, we might have used a different image or found a different person to talk to on the air.
- Don’t get discouraged. If we don’t use your image, keep trying. You’ll be seeing more and more iWitness pictures on the news as time goes on. Keep participating and letting us know what your news is!
