Please Help NewsCenter 16 Support Toys for Tots
2012 marks the 18th year of NewsCenter 16’s partnership with the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. It’s a tradition we cherish and look forward to every year. With your support over the years, we have helped the Marines collect nearly 320,000 toys for needy children in Michiana. But the need is still great.
This year's Toys for Tots Collection Drive takes place on Saturday, December 1 from 7AM to 10AM. You can drop off your donations that morning at any of these locations:
WNDU-TV, South Bend
Concord Mall, Elkhart
Orchards Mall, Benton Harbor
City Hall, Warsaw
Please consider donating a new toy at one of the designated Toys for Tots collection sites.
Where else can I drop off a toy for Toys for Tots?
Aside from our Toy Drive, you can drop off toys at a number of collection locations right now throughout Michiana. Click Here for a list of locations around the community where you can drop off a toy.
You can also drop off toys anytime at the WNDU-TV studios, 54516 State Road 933, South Bend. You can also donate money at the studios or online by clicking here.

As a business leader, what can I do to help the Toys for Tots drive?
You play a key role by allowing the Marines to locate collection receptacles in your stores and by bringing the toys you've collected so far to one of the drop off locations.
Who gets the toys that are donated locally?
Local kids get the toys. For example, toys donated in the St. Joseph County area are distributed to needy children in the St. Joseph County area.
Who distributes the toys?
As Christmas nears, Marines distribute toys themselves and enlist the aid of local social service agencies and churches to help out on Christmas day.
If I need a toy, who do I contact?
