Posted: 02/15/2007 - A study of people over age 65 found there was a higher risk of stroke during summer months because of exposure to fine particle pollution. Researchers found a nearly 7% increase in stroke risk each time pollution levels jumped up on their measuring scale.

Posted: 02/14/2007 - Police arrested three people Tuesday at a home in the 18-hundred block of Nye Street in Warsaw. All three are charged with dealing cocaine. Police say undercover officers were able to buy cocaine at the home on several occasions.
Updated: 02/14/2007 - A Canadian study of elderly people found many stayed heavily involved in the lives of their spouses who had to go into assisted living facilities. Some stayed involved by taking classes together, looking through diaries and photo albums, and helping with general caretaking duties.
Updated: 02/14/2007 - Students will not get the answers to the ISTEP exam, but a bill passed by the Indiana House may give them a leg up. The legislation requires the Department of Education to give schools a guide that shows what academic standards are included on the test and how many questions will be asked.
