Woman pleads guilty to embezzlement

BENTON HARBOR A woman has pleaded guilty to embezzlement for stealing $94,000 from the car dealership where she worked.

According to The Herald Palladium, 52-year-old Shirley Stubalt from Benton Harbor admitted to stealing the money while working as a title clerk at Tyler Honda.

The theft took place over a one-year period. Stubalt reportedly changed records of cash business transactions, in order to hide the missing funds.
