A woman charged with trying to abduct a seven year old girl in Niles will get a psychiatric evaluation.
Bonnie Farrow, 50, was arrested after police say she tried to lead the girl away from her neighborhood, then followed the child into her home.
Farrow's family says she suffers from schizophrenia and dementia, and only thought she was helping the child.
Farrow appeared in court Friday on charges of home invasion, kidnapping and impersonating an FIA worker. That's when the judge ordered the psychiatric evaluation, according to our reporting partners at the Herald Palladium.
Farrow is currently free on bond.
