A woman was quickly arrested on Monday afternoon, after a bank robbery on the south side of South Bend.
Police say that the woman held up the First Source Bank on Ewing around 3 p.m. Police flooded the area looking for her, helped by a GPS device put with the money.
The woman was arrested about a block from the bank, after she was identified by bank employees.
"A lot of quick work," said South Bend Police Captain Phil Trent. "Flooding the area with officers and capitalizing on GPS, you can't do one without the other. If you don't have enough manpower the suspect can elude you and lead you on a goose chase."
All of the stolen money was recovered.
