The crash occurred just after seven last night at the intersection of County Road 388 and 62nd Street in Geneva Township near South Haven. The pickup truck’s driver, a 32-year-old man from Alabama admitted he had been drinking before the crash.
He was trying to pass a westbound car on County Road 388 when he hit a Grand Prix head-on.
Brittney King, 24, was driving two young girls, Kandice Berryhill, 2, and Cassadi Berryhill, 4,from South Haven, they were all pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers say the two young girls were not properly restrained, as there were no car seats in their Grand Prix.
