We might see a little bit of relief from the constant snow fall in Michiana by Wednesday night.
The snow is expected to come to an end by Wednesday evening.
Another blast of winter hit Michiana hard Wednesday morning and parts of the U.S.20 bypass were very slick.
At one point police considered closing the by-pass but decided against it. Police were telling drivers to use caution if driving along the by-pass or to avoid it if at all possible.
There were a handful of slide-offs but no serious injuries.
The high winds and gusts of heavy snow made the morning commute dangerous for many.
“This week has been a little tricky,” says Geno Braun, general manager from Image Motors. He uses the by-pass to get to work every morning. “You know you had to go pretty slow and it’s dangerous out there. So there are little slick spots and it’s pretty windy on top of that, so it's a little scary this week.”
Most of the day people around Michiana were in constant clean-up mode either using snow plows or just good old fashioned shovels to clean-up the snow.
