A Warsaw couple, already behind bars facing a number of unrelated charges, now stands accused in a gas station hold-up last week.
Christopher Gressley, 30, and Anita Moore, 28, were arrested Friday when police stopped their van in Whitley County.
Officers found synthetic marijuana inside, along with two small children who looked like they hadn't been properly cared for.
Both Gressley and Moore were booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on drug and child neglect charges. Their kids were taken into protective custody by CPS.
The following day, police questioned the couple about Friday's armed robbery of the Freedom Express Gas Station in Leesburg. Officers determined that the knife found on Gressley was the same weapon allegedly used during the hold-up.
The couple later confessed to the crime. All preliminary charges are pending.
