Methamphetamine investigations kept Warsaw Police busy this week.

They arrested three people Wednesday after pulling over a minivan for not having a license plate.

The driver, 18-year-old Shanelle Byrer, did not have a license. Police spotted meth in her purse while she searched through it.

They also found meth on a passenger, 44-year-old Mary Jean Howard. 45-year-old Troy Howard, also in the vehicle, was arrested for two child support warrants worth $53,000.

A 2-year-old child in the minivan was released to a relative.

In a separate incident Wednesday, undercover officers found information leading to a meth lab across the street from Lakeview Middle School. 36-year-old Michael Hackworth was arrested in the case.

That arrest led police to several other meth labs at Suburban Acres Mobile Home Park north of Warsaw.
