Indiana Congresswoman Jackie Walorski is looking at ways to bring down record-high gas prices.
She teamed up with a congressman from Nebraska, to introduce the Gas Accessibility and Stabilization (GAS) Act to the U.S. House of Representatives.
The bill focuses on EPA standards. Walorski says different regions of the country have varied fuel composition rules, which complicate and raise the cost of distribution. The GAS Act would allow the EPA to waive those mandates.
