It was a surprise celebration at schools within the Wa-Nee Community Wednesday.
All five schools earned an "A" on the Public School Accountability System. The schools are graded on I-Step scores and the amount of students that show growth from year to year.
Students and staff were recognized Wednesday at an Every School an "A" Celebration at Northwood High School.
“Getting to the top is easier than staying at the top but I think our motivation isn’t just a status it's every year to help out students be everything they can be,” says David Maugel of Northwood High School. “It’s about giving them the opportunities, skills knowledge.”
The district credits the hard work of parents and the community.
