Volunteers from St. Joe Co. have gone to help out storm victims

St. Joseph County, Ind. While the recovery process is almost over for us, it's just starting down in Kokomo. The city suffered tons of damage from Sunday’s storms.

To help out, four volunteers from the St. Joseph County Red Cross ventured down to help residents pick up the pieces.

Two more will join them within the next day or two. The volunteers help with everything from managing the shelters to picking up debris. One even transports victims around.

The group reports that many of the families staying in shelters have begun moving back home or into temporary housing.

It's unclear when the volunteers will return back to Michiana.
