The friends and family of a teen who was killed earlier this month will gather for a prayer vigil in his memory, hosted by On-Site Prayer Ministries.
16-year-old Jhaelon Johnson was fatally shot on September 16th near LaSalle Park.
It was part of a string of shootings that night that left five others wounded.
17-year-old Damontray Lovelady was charged in the case and is scheduled to appear in court next week.
The vigil for Jhaelon Johnson is Monday night at 5:45 at the intersection of West Washington and Dundee Streets in LaSalle Park.
