Local BMX Star Brett Banasiewicz is making progress. Banasiewicz is currently in an out-patient facility in Texas. He's in rehab from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Washington High School Senior was put in a medically induced coma, after he suffered a serious head injury in a BMX fall in August.
Brett's family says he is anxious to return to the BMX world and to his home in South Bend, which he will get to do next week, as he returns for the holidays.
