Two passengers recovering after plane crash

Two passengers on board the downed plane are also on the road to recovery.

Wesley Caves, 58, and Steve Davis, 60, the former OU football great, were both seated in the cockpit, and died on impact from blunt force trauma.

But Jim Rodgers, a former Tulsa firefighter, and his son-in-law, Chris Evans, miraculously survived.

According to the Tulsa World, Rodgers, who was admitted in serious condition with internal injuries, broken bones and cuts, will be soon well enough to breathe without assistance from a ventilator.

Evans, who also suffered numerous broken bones in the crash, began using a wheelchair Tuesday.
