Kosciusko County, Ind. Two men were seriously injured after a pickup truck flipped over in northeast Kosciusko County.
The wreck happened shortly after 6 p.m. Friday, as Javier Lopez, 45, of Cromwell, was heading south on County Road 1000 East. Police say he was approaching County Road 1050 North, when a vehicle that was stopped at that intersection suddenly pulled into his path. Lopez was airlifted from the scene to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne with head and leg injuries. He was last listed in critical condition.
His front seat passenger, Miguel Sanchez, 30, of Syracuse, suffered serious leg injuries. He was also flown to Parkview, where he was last reported to be in serious condition.
The Kosciusko County F.A.C.T./crash investigation team was assisted by the Syracuse/Turkey Creek Township E.M.S. & Fire Department, Indiana State Police, and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.
