Alcohol appears to be a factor in a Berrien County crash that sent two Galien residents to the hospital.
The wreck happened on the U.S. 31 Bypass directly under the Niles Buchanan Rd. overpass in Niles Township.
Police say they arrived on scene to find two people injured in a 2002 Mitsubishi.
Jennifer Scot and Maxwel Robinson were both taken to a local hospital.
Scot, the driver, was treated for a foot injury, while Maxwell, the front seat passenger, was treated for internal injuries.
Investigators say it looks like alcohol was involved in the crash.
