Two Elkhart residents were rushed to the hospital after crashing their 4-wheeler into a parked car.

The crash happened around 2:45 Sunday morning at a home in the 54000 block of Country Manor Place.

Kevin Farris, 28, was driving the 4-wheeler southbound on Country Manor when he approached a curve. He missed the curve and drove off the east side of the road and into a yard before finally hitting the parked car.

He was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for a broken arm and head lacerations.

His passenger, Ashley Randall, 26, was taken to Memorial for shoulder blade pain.

Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department are waiting to see if alcohol played a factor in the collision.
