One of the drivers was trapped in the car until firefighters could get the driver out. Their condition is not known at this time.

While workers with the city's street department were on the way to the scene of the first accident, another happened just down the road at the intersection of Hively and Prairie streets.

According to the driver of the Saturn involved in the accident, the driver of the other vehicle, an SUV, tried to make a right turn in front of him and he could not stop in time.
