Two airlifted following moped crash

WARSAW Two people had to be airlifted to a Kosciusko County hospital after they were hit by a car while riding their moped.

The Stacey Page Online reports that the crash happened just after 3:30 Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Harrison and Fort Wayne streets in Warsaw, near Sacred Heart Catholic School.

54-year-old Jimmy Lisenbee sustained several broken ribs, a crack in his spine, and other broken bones. His wife, 36-year-old Tracy Lisenbee was also injured.
