Police in Hamlet, Ind. are searching for three teenage boys they believe jumped a 12-year-old as he was riding his bike Monday night.
Authorities say the attack happened at around 7:00 p.m. on Monday when the 12-year-old was biking along the 500 block of Pearl St.
The boy was not seriously injured, according to chief deputy Kyle Hinds with the Hamlet Police Dept. The attackers are described as teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18.
Two of the attackers are said to be white, while the third is described as Hispanic with long, black hair. The teens fled the scene in an older model Ford Mustang with a fourth grade Oregon-Davis baseball sticker in the back window.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Hamlet Police Dept. at 574-867-2623. Police also ask that if anyone sees the black Mustang, to call 911.
