Sadly, the summer is almost over but you still have time to make it to one more fair before your kids head back to school. The Berrien County Youth Fair is going on all week long. Tuesday is Children's Day when all school children, K through 12, get in free.

This year’s theme is “We Salute Our Heroes”. All week long they will be judging all kinds of animals. You can also see a baby animal born every day at the Wonders of Birth Barn. Tuesday morning NewsCenter 16 saw a baby chick being born. On top of that there are several rides and new food options.

“We have a new cupcake truck; I am excited to try that. We have a corndog stand in the back, that's a big one we always have lines here and the corndog stand. We have ice cream, elephant ears, anything you want,” says Marketing and sponsorship coordinator Jill Hein.

A lot of excitement revolves around the entertainment this year. Wednesday, Scotty McCreery will be performing live, Thursday, Travis Tritt and many more throughout the week.

It costs $7 for a one day adult ticket, $5 for seniors and $4 for kids.
