Officials determined that a truck driver found dead at a Pilot truck stop in Marshall County earlier this month died of natural causes.
According to WKVI Radio, Marshal County Coroner Bill Cleavenger announced on Thursday that the deceased truck driver, Bruce Garrett of Pittsburg, died from pre-existing medical conditions. Garrett was found dead in his semi-truck’s cab on Tuesday, December 11, at the truck stop.
Toxicology results showed that no drugs or alcohol were present in his system at the time of his death, and the coroner closed the case after ruling a natural death.
