Once again the boys from Bourbon are on their way to the state championship game.

"We've been blessed with some good players that's what it takes to be successful" said Triton Coach Jason Groves. "You have to have good kids and good basketball players and we have both."

The key to the Trojan's success are the six seniors that make up the winningest group in school history. Led by Griffyn Carpenter, the all-time leading scorer in school history, Triton is headed to it's third state championship game in four years.

"It was a great way to start my freshman year by winning one and it's going to be a great way to end if we can win one Saturday," said Carpenter.

The Trojans have a second star in sophomore Clay Yeo, who is already drawing college interest. Before he starts thinking about college, he says he has a few goals to reach Saturday.

"The big one is win," said Yeo. "But I'd like to get a dunk or two in at Conseco just to pump up the fans."

The Trojans take the floor in the 1A state title game at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning against Indianapolis Metropolitan. You can catch the game on WHME
