South Bend, Ind. A trial dates was set Tuesday for a man charged in a deadly home invasion.
Mario McGrew, 28, is scheduled to stand trial on March 24 for burglary and felony murder, in connection with the death of 40-year-old Michael Jackson.
Police believe Jackson and McGrew were among a group of men trying to break into a home on October 23, at a house on Warrick Street, just east of Notre Dame. The homeowner, Robert Carrico, was shot too, but survived.
Shawn Alexander, 36, was also charged with burglary and felony murder in the case. Alexander's trial date is set for April.
