Traffic stop results in two drug arrests in Marshall County

A traffic stop early Friday morning in Marshall County led to the arrest of two men from Mishawaka for harboring drugs.

The stop happened on US 31 at the intersection of US 6 at around 1 a.m.

As the officer walked around the vehicle, he saw drugs inside, which led to a search.

Cory Scheibelhut, 25, and Kasey Correll were arrested and taken to the Marshall County Jail.

The officer found nearly 150 grams of marijuana.

Both their bonds are set at $1,500.
