Topeka Ind. man killed in Ohio accident

Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened Monday morning in Knox County, Ohio.

Devon Lambright, 20, of Topeka, Indiana was pronounced dead at the scene after he was ejected from and pinned underneath the overturned vehicle.

According to police, Lambright was one of three passengers in the car at the time. Sharon Lambright, 18, of Topeka, Indiana and Kenneth Mullet, 21, of Millersburg, Indiana were also in the vehicle.

Their van was traveling east on US 62 just before 10 a.m. when it veered off the right side of the road, then swerved back left to hit a guardrail before heading right again and hitting some trees.

Police suspect that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. They are still investigating the accident. None of the people in the car were wearing seat belts.
