Rates are going up on the Indiana Toll Road starting July 1st, at least for some users.

The cost for a typical passenger car paying cash to travel down the entire 157-mile length of the Toll Road will increase by 30 cents, or about 3%. The total would be $9.70.

The cost for passenger cars using electronic tolling will not change, meaning $4.65 for an end to end trip. Those rates are frozen in place through 2016.

The cost for a typical semi truck to travel end to end will increase by $1.30, up to a total of $38.70. That's an increase of 3.4%.
