BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - Police investigating the disappearance of a 20-year-old Indiana University student say investigators continue to receive tips in the case three years later.

The Bloomington Police Department say the most recent tip about Lauren Spierer came in Thursday. It said Monday it has received 282 tips about her in the past year alone. It says investigators "remain hopeful that someone with knowledge of the circumstances surrounding Lauren's disappearance will do the right thing by stepping up and contacting our agency."

The Greenburgh, New York, native, disappeared early on June 3, 2011, after a night of partying with friends in Bloomington. No criminal charges have ever been filed in the disappearance
