Encouraging numbers from Michiana New Year’s continue to emerge.
According to reporting partner WKVI, both Starke and Pulaski counties entered 2013 with a perfect record – zero DUI arrests on New Year’s Eve.
St. Joseph County also reported a clean holiday for drunk driving. However police did make two DUI arrests in Marshall County.
Police departments throughout the area stepped up efforts to curb drunk driving on New Year's Eve.
AAA says that across the nation, it's the deadliest two-day period to be on the road.
