SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Thousands of people packed into Century Center Wednesday to enjoy food from dozens of different restaurants.
It's the 24th year of Taste of Michiana, where 40 restaurants gathered to support a great cause.
For $25, folks shared an evening full of food, wine, beer and great music.
Food from all over the world was showcased by local eateries.
“If you want to taste what Century Center has to offer, you come here,” Bela Szalay, Taste of Michiana coordinator, said. “If you want to taste what Villi Macri has to offer, you come here. I've got a German restaurant, I've got a Cuban restaurant here, American, soulfood, Italian, you gotta admit, this is awesome.”
All the proceeds from the event stay local, helping those who are fighting drug and alcohol addictions at Life Treatment Centers in South Bend.
