A man wheels across Michiana this weekend, raising awareness and prevention for family violence.
Richard Propes was born with spina bifida and is a paraplegic, double amputee.
Propes is also a sexual abuse victim and has traveled 3500 miles by wheelchair raising thousands of dollars for children's organizations.
On his 23rd year with The Tenderness Tour, Propes will spend Labor Day weekend in Elkhart County, raising funds for Child and Parent Services, Inc. He'll meet with community and church leaders as well as schools through Elkhart County.
Propes is a native Hoosier himself and will visit Elkhart, Middlebury, Goshen and Wakarusa.
