Zion Carlstrom, who was badly injured in a hit-and-run accident in July, is coming home this week.

The 17-year-old was riding her bike along County Road 35 in July when a car hit her from behind.

She was air-lifted to Memorial Hospital in critical condition and later moved to a rehab facility in Indianapolis.

According to the We Love You Zion Facebook page, the teen is walking better than doctors expected at this point in recovery.

She'll hopefully be able to come home as soon as Friday.
