Teen sentenced for arson at former Goshen Inn

GOSHEN The first of three teens charged with the arson at the vacant Goshen Inn has admitted to the charges against him.

The Elkhart Truth reports that a 15-year-old admitted to burglary, arson and criminal mischief in the August 12th fire. The teen will be placed on probation with electronic monitoring, and will serve 100 hours community service. The judge also ordered him to delete his Facebook and any other social media accounts, and he is not allowed to have contact with any of the other suspects.

Names have not been released because the suspects are being charged in juvenile court.

The other teens will appear in court Tuesday and Thursday.
