Teen pulled from river in Mishawaka

Mishawaka, Ind. Dozens of police officers were called out to look for a teen in the St. Joseph River around 4:30 in Mishawaka. Thankfully they quickly got him to shore.

It happened at Lincolnway near Logan. The 13-year-old was court-mandated to stay at Oaklawn Psychiatric Facility. Security was chasing him when he ran into the river.

South Bend Police noticed the chase and stopped to help. That is when a dive team and Mishawaka Police were also called out. The teen waded in the river for a short time, before he was pulled out safely.
