UPDATE: Name of driver released in Van Buren Co. crash

Van Buren County, Mich. Police have revealed the name of the driver that died in Sunday night crash as the driver of the vehicle, Emily Rose Lauer. The passengers names are not being released.

One teen is dead, and two passengers hurt after a group of teens tried to go airborne while driving over a small bridge.

It happened in the 36000 block of 64th Avenue in Paw Paw Township Sunday night.

Police say the 18-year old Lauer, was traveling too fast while headed west on 64th Avenue, a dirt road.

The car went over a bridge, lost control and hit a tree., rolling numerous times.

When police got to the scene, they found Lauer dead.

A 16-year-old front seat passenger got out of the car on her own, and an 18-year-old male was taken to the hospital for serious head and facial injuries.
