Journalist Ted Koppel is coming to Notre Dame this month.
He will visit on October 12 to lead a discussion on contemporary journalism, politics, and world affairs.
Koppel is currently a special correspondent for NBC's Rock Center.
He has been in journalism for more than half a century.
He started as a broadcaster at WMCA Radio in New York and spent 25 years leading ABC's Nightline as host and managing editor.
Koppel also visited the university back in 1999 to speak for a journalism lecture series.
The talk will begin at 1 p.m. on October 12 in the Hesburgh Library auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
