SYRACUSE, Ind. A teenager is behind bars for a convenience store robbery, after calling police and reporting the crime himself.

Nick Hise, 18, of Syracuse reportedly told Kosciusko County Police over the phone that he'd entered Noble Convenience Store in Syracuse with an airsoft rifle and demanded cigarettes.

Employees at the store refused his demands and never reported the incident, since they thought the rifle was fake.

According to Stacey Page Online, Hise now faces attempted robbery charges.
